The Glen Burnie Park Swim Club is currently accepting applications for the following positions this summer
Lifeguard - $14.50/hr
Duties
Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
Makes rescues and administers first aid when necessary
Interacts with members as needed to help ensure a safe environment
Assists with membership check-in & snack shack
Maintains cleanliness of facility
Qualifications
At least 15 years of age
Must have or able to complete Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid Course
Full/Part Time Positions Available
Flexible Hours
Head Lifeguard / Pool Operator - $15.50/hr
Duties
Oversees daily operations of facility
Maintain the filtration system and pool chemistry
Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
Makes rescues and administers first aid when necessary
Interacts with members as needed to help ensure a safe environment
Assists with membership check-in & snack shack
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Must have or able to complete Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid Course
Must have or able to complete Pool Operator Certification Course
Full/Part Time Positions Available
Flexible Hours
Swim Lesson Instructor - $18/hr
Duties
Teach swim lessons to youth participants of varying ability
Evaluate each participant’s performance, provide feedback, and adjusting lessons as needed
Identify incorrect swimming techniques and correct participants accordingly
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Must have or able to complete Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid Course
Must have or able to complete Water Safety Instructor Certification and/or experience/certification as a swim coach
